Aaahh, so, like I vaguely hinted at earlier, I’m moving my blog! It’s got a new name, better formatting, and it’s way spiffier looking! so change your bookmarks, forget this blog, and head over to http://www.shoe-gazing.com. I hope to make it infinitely better, prettier, and more interesting than my old blog, so yay!

Will She Ever Learn to Stay Put?

Hi friends. Hold tight, because in a short while, I’ll be moving my blog. It will be bigger and better than before! As I mentioned before, I’ve become increasingly unhappy with how my blog is going, both by its physical appearance (which is absolutely horrid, and not at all what I’d like it to look like) and by its content. I haven’t been putting nearly as much effort into it as I should or want to be, and I haven’t really explored what I really wanted to through blogging: why clothes are so incredibly inspiring and captivating to me. So hold tight for a few days, and hopefully a better blog will be on its way!

Ok, Arabelle and I are having a freakout on twitter right now over the awesomeness that is Marit Fujiwara. Susie posted about it just now, and when I saw her Flickr, I thought I was going to have to reattach my jaw to my head. Look, and be amazed.

Are you  not amazed!!?!?!? I have to resist pulling an all-caps so much right now. The amount of detail and care in her work is absolutely breathtaking. I’m actually having a hard time putting into words how spectacular this is. It makes my heart beat faster and gives me this crazed sense of elation. That’s about as close as I can get right now. I think I’ll let the images speak for themselves.
