Everyone’s favorite flannel-clad teddybears are toughening up their aesthetic for spring. There was no sign of the jersey that made Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra famous. Instead, there was mostly silk and ultrasuede (not a material used very often). It was a solid collection, full of interesting colors paired in interesting ways (neonish yellow and washed blue looked great together), even if I didn’t feel incredibly excited afterwards. And really, the toughness was more in the styling and accessories than in the clothes themselves.
